Our client develops low-cost pre-processing machines to prevent post-harvest loss and deliver quality raw materials to food factories. We’ve developed our first preprocessor for Nigeria’s sustainable oil palm sector (80% of supply comes from smallholders) with a weekly processing capacity of 600 metric tons. We aggregate smallholder crops, preprocess them with our proprietary machinery, and deliver high-quality raw materials to food factories.
Founders studied at MIT, Duke, and Yale with experience at McKinsey, General Electric, Bain, and Facebook.
The Firm is mentored by Pres. Adesina of AfDB, Nigeria’s former Minister of Agriculture. We are funded by Y Combinator, Bill Gates’ investment firm BEV, and other leading venture capital and private equity investors.
The Vice President, Human Capital will develop and lead the firm’s human resources and performance management implementation. The VP will be responsible for human capital demand planning, recruiting, onboarding, HR software selection, all aspects of performance management, and internal communications.
This role is for an experienced human resources and strategy professional. A strong performer will feel + be treated as a founding member of our client with the opportunity to earn equity in the firm with a strong performance.
Previous Occupations: Firm-wide HR professional with extensive independent experience over 5+ years. Ideally, previous employment by a VC-backed startup or other fast-paced business environments.
Additionally, experience in agriculture and/or manufacturing is preferred for recruiting referrals

Strong communication skills: Ability to develop compelling presentations. Inspire, coach, and empathize with all talent tenures
